Dr. Hames joined the dental staff of HRHCare in August of 1988 and practices dentistry at our Health Center in Peekskill. As Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Hames oversees the delivery of dental services at multiple sites throughout our Health Center network. He also serves as our Chief Infection Control Officer.
Dr. Hames received his B.A. in Mathematical Sciences from Binghamton University’s Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, and his D.D.S. from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where he was a National Health Service Corps Scholar. He is a member of the Ninth District Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association (ADA), Clinical Directors Network (CDN), National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA), Dental Management Coalition (DMC), Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (A.P.I.C.), and the Organization for Safety and Asepsis Procedures (O.S.A.P.). As a faculty consultant with Lutheran Medical …Center’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program, Dr. Hames has mentored several dental residents at the Health Center in Peekskill.
