Dr. Clifford D Mah, MD

Dr. Mah has been nothing but excellent! He recently did surgery on my 10 year old daughter's foot. She has flexible flat feet and the pronation was causing daily pain in her feet, knees and hips. She still has another foot to go. Recovery from the first foot is going great. Dr. Mah has excellent bedside manner and is always very helpful. I feel very confident with treatment and care provided by Dr. Mah.

Does unnecessary treatment which in turn can cause more problems

About 5 years ago I had fallen down my stairs at home, the next morning I could not walk on it due to the pain. I had x-rays done but was told it was probably a bad sprain and I was in a boot for about 3 weeks. After that I kept experiencing extreme pain when the shoes I was wearing were too tight on the top of my foot. My PCP thought that it just needed more time to heal. So I'm 6 weeks into this and I finally make an appointment to see Dr. Mah. As soon as I told him where the pain was he knew that I had fractured the joint in the top of my foot. He took x-rays with me putting pressure on the foot as that was the only way to see the break and he ordered a CT scan just to make sure. He scheduled me for surgery and he had to put 8 screws and 2 plates in my foot so that the joint could heal. I was in no pain after the surgery and my foot healed nicely. I just had surgery again with Dr. Mah to remove the screws and plates and everything went just fine. I would suggest Dr. Mah to… anyone looking for a podiatrist, he is very knowledgeable.
