My MD retired last year forcing me to choose a new one. Dr.R was a bad choice. So I am changing doctors again. Someone a little warmer would be nice. Dr R's passions seem to be the ordering of tests & more tests and prescribing pills & more pills. That tells me that he doesn't have a good 'sense' of what might be ailing me even when I give him complete signs & symptoms and even though he does a complete exam of me. What he does tell me keeps turning out to be incorrect or unnecessary. That's a little scary. If an MD is intelligent and been in practice since 1978, shouldn't he have good medical knowledge by now? If I even mention using internet medical searches or using naturopathic remedies (which I do)as a part of my personal healthcare, he really is not happy me. On a positive note,the ladies that staff the office are all warm, personal, smart and helpful. And, even though I wait in the office 30+ minutes most times to be seen, he does spend a good amount of time with me once I get… in the exam room, although he types every word I say into his laptop while I say it and am right there on the exam table, instead of waiting 'til I leave. That seems so impersonal to me and creeps me out a little. How short is his short term memory? Can't he leave the room with his laptop and do the input someplace else? Anyway, my husband and I are going elsewhere. To be fair, the girlfriend who recommended him us says her husband just loves him. He had cancer and Dr. paid tons of attention to him during the guys course of healing.

With the Aug 2011 review. He will ask things like the scrips you are on when he wrote them. He'll keep you waiting and used to rush things BUT he's gotten a lot better on that. You will NOT get a sense that he cares, but that's not really important to everyone (I don't need a doc to pretend, let's face it, none of them ACTUALLY care, why play the pretend game?) The truth is that Cliff is perfectly adequate. He doesn't keep up on the latest anything -- if it was in the book in the 90's, he knows about it. If you have a question about a newer drug or you want to discuss the latest research in some condition, forget it. He's also a Type I Internetphobe -- everything that has ever been published online is wrong, you're self diagnosing, people can make stuff up and you're too dumb to even ask questions about something if you dared to look at the Wikipedia first, etc etc. So do yourself a favor and don't mention it EVEN IF you have been actually diagnosed and were stupid enough to look it up… online to actually learn something.

I have heard people either love him or they don't. I happen to be one who loves him. He has been there for me through many medical issues including 3 bouts of cancer. I have never once felt rushed as a matter of fact I have been there well after the office should have closed but was kept open for me . My physical as well as my emotional health all are important to him. I respect him very much and hope he keeps on Doctoring for a very long time.

I found Doctor Rosenberg to be extremely rude and irrated when asked questions and wants to spend as little time as possible with you. Asking me what prescriptions I am on when he is the one the prescribed them.. terrible doctor who I would not take my dogs too
