Dr. Clifford Bernardo Soults, MD

After being interviewed by a PA or NP who spent all her time typing into the computer, Dr. Soults finally came into the examination room with disparaging comments, spent less than 5 minutes with me, and refused to answer my questions, stating he needed more tests and information. He has no bedside manner or empathetic skills. I found a surgeon who is competent and caring, and who spent 2 hours with me on our first appointment, explaining my diagnosis and possible remedies. I would never recommend Dr. Soults.

He saved my son 17 years ago from even having surgery when he fell from his tree stand. We asked him for a 2nd opinion because the other dr wanted to do major surgery. last month my mom became ill. they found a spot on her brain. The surgeon wanted to do exploratory surgery, I asked for Dr Soults to do a 2nd opinion and he knew what it was just by looking at CT scans. She had surgery with him in Crouse and even though its terminal he dis fantastic. Great gentleman.

His home office in Syracuse couldn't even tell me where his NEW office was in New Hartford. Asked me to come in 15 min early to fill out NEW patient paperwork even though I saw him before at his old location. Waited 25 min in waiting room - still no paperwork to fill out. Left in disgust. He has always treats patients as though his time is far more important then theirs. After all - don't you know who I am - I'm a doctor and I'm far more important than any of my peon patients. Don't walk but run as fast as you can from Dr Soults. You'll be glad you did

If I could give him a zero I would, he was rude, abrupt, arrogant and quick to get to the next big thing which was anywhere but with the needing patient. Just because one holds a degree does not give them the entitlement to feel superior while steam rolling over patients. There are other neurosurgeons within the region...I recommend making the drive to get the attention and care you need, he is not your only option!

I'm walking, when I shouldn't be. My favorite doctor.

I had back surgery on a Monday, was in excruciating pain and had complications all of my hospital stay, and he did not even come in to see me until Thursday. Isn't it normal practice for a Dr to make daily rounds on post-op patients?

Terrible!!! He ruined my back!!

I work at another physicians office. An employee, Janine, was very rude and called our personnel a "liar" over the phone and hung up on our employee. This experience was horrible! Janine was very rude and refused to allow our staff to speak with Dr. Soultz and discontinued the call.
