Dr. Clifford V Weith, DO

I presented to the ER after falling down 2 flights of stairs with complaint of severe knee pain where I landed. I told him I couldn’t remember much of what happened since I hit my head and lost consciousness, but he didn’t believe it physically possible to fall down two flights of stairs. He “humored” me with a knee X-Ray but when films came back negative he stood outside my open door and told the nurse to “get rid of this moron, there’s nothing wrong with her”. I had never felt so judged, belittled, and dismissed in my entire life. Later that day my GP sent me back to the same ER to evaluate my obvious concussion symptoms. I now refuse to go to NKCH ER; even after a car accident, I insisted to be taken to a different, farther hospital. DO Clifford V Weith II’s behavior was highly unprofessional and completely uncalled for. So much for compassion (or lack thereof).
