Dr. Clinton Andrew Marlar, MD

Refused needed surgery and death resulted. He passed on the "Do No Harm" oath. His white coat didn't have name God on it but he felt he was. If you don't care about your loved one then this is the "guy" for you.

Do No Harm, the oath that Marlar didn't take. Refused surgery and someone died because of his god complex. If you don't care about your loved one then he is great.

Dr .Marlar performed a colon resection due to diverticulitis. Went in on Wednesday for surgery-had breakfast Thursday morning-Home on Friday 10:00am. I could not believe how well it went. For my surgery to go this well, must be credited to a Surgeon with a "God Given Talent".

Dr. Marlar, with the help of the good Lord, saved my husband's life by performing two emergency bowel surgeries within two weeks of each other. These surgeries were necessitated by complications from a botched kidney surgery by an incompetent urologist. Where he is no-nonsense and to the point, he is also compassionate. More importantly, he is highly skilled, confident and ethical. Unfortunately I too now need surgery. I did not hesitate to call on Dr. Marlar, and feel fortunate to be able to do so.

This appointment was a joke and waste of time and money. Spent 5-7 minutes with nurse/assistant and then Dr. Marlar came in and after quickly looking and feeling around said there was nothing he could see and I was good to go. I stopped him and reiterated that the problem was real and asked what all it could be or I could do to ease the pain/issue. He replied "I don't know" and proceeded to leave, definitely might need to work on his "bedside manner". It is perfectly fine that he does not know, in fact its better to say that and avoid just giving random test but he could treat his patients with more courtesy than seeing them for less than 5 minutes and not even taking the time to think of other options or offer a referral to someone that may actually be able to help. I normally like to give people the benefit of the doubt and think maybe I've caught them on a bad day, but his attitude and lack of caring really aggravated me. One positive for this office visit is the staff, they… were extremely friendly.
