Dr. Clodualdo S Orquiza, MD

I was experiencing bulging and swelling in my neck area which caused me to see a multitude of doctors in a year and a half timeframe, I went to my general practitioner, endocrinologist, lung specialist, and a visit to the ER where I had a multitude of tests including a CAT scan which showed nothing unusual. I finally made an appointment with Dr. Orquiza E N T who I had seen in the past for vertigo and sinus issues, this was a last resort to figure out why my neck was bulging when I would cough and swelling. Dr. Orquiza spent a substantial amount of time asking questions that no other doctors asked like were you in any accidents or have you had any blunt force trauma, I completely forgot I had a boating accident where we hit a sandbar and I was thrown against the front of our boat. After Dr Orquiza Finished his examination he told me I have a pulmonary apical herniation, I asked why it was not picked up on the CAT scan he said because you have to do the Valsalva maneuver ( the bearing… down like pushing for childbirth ) because of the blunt force trauma both of my lungs herniated into my throat region Which was CONFIRMED after another CAT scan was prescribed by a thoracic surgeon! I have since had one surgery to bring my right lung back into place I am currently waiting on the second lung surgery, if it were not for Dr. Orquiza I have no idea if this serious medical issue would have ever been discovered. In my opinion Dr Orquiza one of the Most brilliant doctors I’ve ever had!

He totally missed reading my labs correctly. I had a simple throat culture - had a positive finding and the meds that are resistant and suspectible are written right on the bottom of the lab sheet. Did he give me one that was listed as S (susceptible) which means it will treat this condition. No, he gives me an antibiotic off that chart and was resistant to the infection. He also didnt check my labs for several weeks when the labs came in, I saw them myself online yet he didnt bother to call or treat me. I also saw a patient he misdiagnosed who had cancer in her throat in the waiting room and she was there with her husband. He missed that diagnose too. Not going back, I found a good ENT who does the right tests and treats appropriately.

Pompous and arrogant know-it-all. At the end of the day I was misdiagnosed and had to go to see someone who actually knew what they were talking about. If you like your life stay away from this man.

I have complete confidence in Dr.Orquiza.He performed sinus surgury and all went well.No more sinus headaches or infections.The Dr. and staff are always professional and friendly.

he said my problem was TMJ gave me muscle relaxers. That did not solve my Sinus problem. Gave me steroids which made me sicker and my glands swell. referred me to an infectious disease doctor who refused to take me on as a patient.

We had some minor complications after a surgery he had performed, and he made himself available to our family, he and his staff called to check on us after the surgery center had already done so, and he called for follow-up visits to ensure that healing was occurring as it should. All is well, and we love his playful demeanor while remaining sober about the medical concerns.

Dr. Orquiza is very precise with your ENT needs--after initial assessments and the CT scans/MRI scans, he knows what may resolve your ongoing issues. Neat & very careful surgeon, operated on me twice and I have much less sinus infections as a result. Warm, caring, very friendly as well. The Absolute Best ENT surgeon I have ever worked with.
