I wish I could give negative stars!!!! I made an appt for my husband after he was in the ER with kidney stones. They asked about our insurance, I explained he has two, one from his work and one from mine but we are using mine because no referral is required. When he came to the appointment, they refused to see him because he did not have a referral under his employer's insurance. We said we aren't using that insurance, the other insurance said they would pay the claim. They said, no we can't see you without a referral. He then offered to pay out of pocket up front and they still refused to see him. This while he has a 6mm kidney stone he is trying to pass.

Being down on my luck with no insurance however I have the ability to pay just not at once. I requested to be able to make payments as I have severe blood in my urine. The staff upfront was very nice and very kind and stated they would check with the doctor after I explain my personal situation. The response from the doctor does not reflect these reviews I was advised that they do not do payment plans for new patients. I've been seeing my primary care doctor for decades and was referred to dr. Corey. Apparently the doctor has never had a situation in his wife where he needed medical attention but was unable to pay for it right away. Dr. Cory's business model is absolutely counterintuitive to his apparent desire to help patients as a physician. Please note I never asked for anything free I simply need to find out what's happening in my body and and more than willing to pay

My husband and I go to Dr. Corey. I had kidney stone procdure and my husband has prostate cancer. Surgeries and follow up treatment. He is so kind and caring. He is always on time for surgeries and sometimes early. Excellent urologist! We both recommend him highly. Easy to talk too.

Upon arriving for my appt. I had to check myself in and pay my co-pay by a kiosk machine. The lady behind the counter called my name to give me a rect. and advised me I could not been seen today....after paying my co-pay of 80.00. I said why? She said because your insurance has not mailed us payment. Now, claim was filed by dr 17 days late. I got on the phone called insurance company they instructed me and the office a check was mailed and gave the lady behind the counter the reference #. But.....the office (finance) manager said I would have to pay the 245.00 that the insurance company had mailed a check on and then I could be seen by the doctor. Of course I said no. Now I said to the lady behind the counter...when did you find this out - she said it was 5:30 pm the day before. I said, why didn't you call me? She could not answer that question. Needless to say I did not get to see the Doctor....

You could not ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Corey happened to be on-call for my regular urologist when I became urgently ill. I was impressed that he was well versed on my case (though he had not seen me as a patient before). He was very straight-forward with me, explained things to my satisfaction and I felt I was getting complete honesty and transparency with Dr. Corey. If I did not already have a regular urologist, I would go to him full time!

I did not see Dr. Corey on my visit to the office today. I am one of his patients on testosterone injection. I go into the office every two weeks for a shot. The last 2 or 3 times I have visited The Woodlands office I have left extremely dissatisfied with my experience. The new check in system at this office is an absolute joke. It doesn't work half the time and when it does it doesn't communicate with the office staff. When I checked out it didn't show in the computer that I had swiped payment for my copay at the kiosk and it didn't give me an option at the kiosk to pay what I knew would be my full payment. Then the statement I was given should a different amount due that what I was told and paid and the explanation I got was the new check in system isn't communicating with the old billing system. Today I waited in the lobby for almost an hour and a half to see the nurse to get my shot. Not only did everyone who was waiting when I got there go back before me, but so did everyone who… came in after me. This is absolutely unacceptable!!

DR. COREY IS #1 IN MY BOOK. TELLS ME JUST WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT I NEED TO DO. MY WAITING TIME TODAY WAS LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. HE IS GREAT!
