Dr. Clyde Steven Ikeda, DDS

Clyde S. Ikeda, D.D.S.
A native of Arroyo Grande, Clyde S. Ikeda, DDS attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before earning a B.S. degree in biology from Loma Linda University. After graduating second in his class from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1982, he served as a resident at Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu. Dr Ikeda received the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1988, which required the successful completion of 500 hours of continuing education and an extensive all-day examination.
Dr. Ikeda has been serving his patients in Santa Maria since 1983. During the course of his practice, he has received special training in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and reconstructive dentistry. Committed to excellence and improvement, Dr. Ikeda routinely attends 100-200 hours of continuing dental education per year, far more than the 25 hours required by California law. In 1999, Dr. Ikeda graduated from Creating Restorative Excellence, one …of the premier post-graduate dental programs in the country. Fewer than 5% of dentists in America have achieved this level of education. Among Dr. Ikeda's many patients, a number of dentists and dentists' spouses are a testament to Dr. Ikeda's care, skill, judgment, and reputation.
Active in the community, Dr. Ikeda is a past president of the Santa Maria Valley Kiwanis Club. As an advocate and fan of organized sports, he has coached and sponsored several youth athletic teams. Dr. Ikeda has spent time on the Allan Hancock College Foundation Board of Directors. He is also involved in the Central Coast Japanese Community Center, and a supporter of Cal Poly's student athletes.

Lynn Rice - Business Administrator
Lynn has 21 years of experience working in dentistry as a front office business administrator. She excels at providing a warm welcome to patients, and helping to create a positive dental experience. She has achieved her goal to work with an exceptional and dedicated team that provides patients with the best possible dental care. Lynn greatly enjoys attending dental continuing education courses to continuously grow, and learn how best to serve patients.
Lynn is married with three grown children who live locally. Her greatest joy is spending time with her family and four amazing grandsons.
Sandra Orozco - Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions
Sandra has been an exceptional, dedicated employee of Dr. Ikeda's dental team for over 20 years. She has 25 years of experience in the dental profession. Sandra participated in Allan Hancock College's Dental Assisting program, where she received her Associate in Science degree. Part of her dental training was completed in UCLA Dental Assisting Extended Function's program.
Sandra teaches part time at Allan Hancock College's Dental Assisting Program, and is a dedicated member of Pacific Christian Church. She and her husband of 20 years have 2 teenage children. Her hobbies include making jewelry, which she retails at several fashion boutiques.
Klara Karsai - Registered Dental Hygienist
Klara has been working in dentistry for eleven years. She graduated from Allan Hancock College with an Associate in Science degree in Dental Assisting in 1999. After working a few years as a dental assistant, she returned to school to complete her Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Taft College in 2004. Klara enjoys providing her patients with excellent and personalized dental care and education. She is proud to be part of Dr. Ikeda's special dental team.
When out of the office, Klara enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling with her husband.
