Dr Sheehan is the best Dr I have seen for my problems, I have suffered depression and anxiety my entire adult life. Finally at 53 y/o, I found the help I needed.

Dr. Sheehan is the finest psychiatrist I have ever seen. The wait time is too long but that is the only problem with seeing him. He is dedicated, intelligent, keeps up with advances in medicine as well as medication. To top that off, he actually cares. I can't even imagine a better psychiatrist and I highly recommend him.

This man did nothing but lie. He said I was bi-polar only to have me shipped off to a mental hospital just to have multiple other doctors tell me that I had no reason to be there. I was unable to get into the military because of the lies he wrote on my medical report. Not once did he ask why I was angry. Apparently a teenager who is angry because of hormones needs to be on lockdown because he sees it as a hazard. Let's not even get started on how the medicine never worked. I honestly got better once iI stopped taking it. He begged me to continue taking it which is when I stopped seeing him. He put me on so much medication that made me angry for no reason. In the beginning, he tried, but he later on just gave up and decided not to help but only hurt. Do not see this man if you are taking your children to him. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

I understand why some may complain about the wait - sure, it can take a considerable amount of time. But those people need to realize that it’s all about the time of day. Any appointment I set for before 3pm goes super quickly - sometimes less than 30 minutes. If you go after 3pm...well let’s not be stupid here - rush hour after business hours. Let’s not forget how the office will not close the doors until all patients are helped. I have been there until 8pm before. That’s dedication (on both parts?). Dr. Sheehan is a caring person. He truly wants to help. And uh...of course he does not speak much, the man has Parkinson's. Idiots. Really...don’t listen to these negative reviewers. I have conversations with Dr. Sheehan about all facets of life - he’s always engaging and happy to be there. Also super knowledgeable man. Those whining are likely either impatient, obnoxious people...or trying to grab a prescription and run. Anyway - at least give this office a try. Just set an… appointment 3-4 weeks out to get a time before 3pm and you’ll not regret the decision.

Dr. Sheehan is great. The reviewers who say he doesn't talk to them, well, he doesn't have to. He has nurses who you see FIRST, who THOROUGHLY go over your information. Detailed questions about your medications, ups, downs, issues, etc. He has that information before you see him, so he doesn't have to discuss it. There is a licensed therapist on site as well, who gets paid to discuss your problems. I think some reviews are unfair, as they're pieces taken from the whole picture of how their office runs. The info you give the nurse is basically the same info you give for your initial visit, EVERY TIME YOU GO, so they know when to adjust your meds or change them completely. He is a great doctor, and is knowledgeable in every subject I have presented him with over the past two(+) years. I see him monthly and have gone from taking several medications to taking two. His office has been life changing for me.

Dr. Shehan is a very smart, caring doctor. He listens to you and helps you anyway he can. I received help for him for years!

This man is incredibly unstable. He can't even make decisions on his own. Don't dare let him try to make a decision about your life and your medication!!

I feel he knows his stuff , but dont really care about his patients. You will have an appt at 3;00 and not be seen till 6;00. He dont dont talk to you much , writes you a prescription and sends you on your way .
