Meet Dr. Colleen Bullard Meet Dr. Colleen Bullard Meet the Staff What Sets Us Apart? Colleen Bullard, DDS Being a dentist is a really special role for me. I have the opportunity to reach out to my friends and neighbors, using my skills to help them live healthier, happier lives. My patients and staff inspire me to become a better dentist and a better person. I love what I do and truly care about the people I serve. Education Prior to becoming a dentist, I attained my Bachelor Degree in Psychology and my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. I then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Continuing Education Although my formal education is complete, I know that part of being a dentist means always striving to provide the most effective and comfortable treatments possible. As a part of my continuing education, I am an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, attend sponsored seminars …regularly, and am involved in a multi-dentist study group to discuss cases. The courses, seminars and study groups I am involved in help me improve my skills and rekindle my passion for dentistry! I leave each meeting inspired to get back to my patients and provide them with the highest quality services available today. In the Practice From simple checkups and cleanings to complex procedures, all dental visits should be relaxing and produce beautiful results! My highest goal is to help our patients achieve optimal oral health, which is intrinsically linked to overall health. When my patients are healthy, I am happy! One of the best things about my job is simply being a part of my patients’ lives. As I provide dental care for them, I enjoy getting to know them and building personal connections. Our patients and families are also our friends and neighbors, and we provide only the best care for them. Seeing my patients in the grocery store or at the park with their beautiful smiles always makes my day! I strive to make my practice a warm and welcoming part of our community, where everyone feels welcome. My staff are unique and special because they are dedicated to compassionate patient care. We love to laugh and have fun in our practice, and that creates a really friendly atmosphere for our patients! Family and Community I grew up in Ann Arbor and love the area and continue to live in it. My husband, Bill, and I have one daughter named Samantha, and two cats, Daisy and Maya. I also have a niece, Maxine, who is like a second daughter to me. In my spare time, I love practicing yoga, hiking, reading all kinds of books, and hanging out with my family. I am also involved with our community, am an assistant Sunday school teacher at my church, and volunteer in my daughter's classroom.
