Colleen Copelan, MD

Dr. Colleen Copelan, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry in Camarillo, California.. She is accepting new patients and telehealth appointments.She received her medical degree from University of Southern California School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She has expertise in treating bipolar disorder, among other conditions.

She uses integrative psychiatry in order to develop a comprehensive treatment plan, working in conjunction with a patient's doctors, pediatricians, and nutritionists, as necessary. She has expertise in helping with the broad range of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, including eating disorders in teens, and believes in providing an intensive outpatient program in order to avoid hospitalization.
