Dr. Colleen Anne Mcevoy, MD

This is a very smart doctor who knows procedures and facts really well, to the point where I felt like she was signing me up for too many unneeded scans and procedures that wouldn't benefit me at all (perhaps it was for her own research). I felt like her guinea pig. She is thorough. She does everything by the book but when it comes to understanding her patient's feeling, or having compassion, she is lacking greatly in that department. When calling her, its nearly impossible to get a hold of her or her nurse and I've called about issues that are serious enough that I could have been dead by the time someone responded. Its also her way or the highway. Im a medically complex patient who cares a lot about my quality of life, but McEvoy made me feel like she couldn't care less. She wanted me to do what she wanted me to do, regardless of the fact that her orders would mean that my life would no longer have any quality to it. After couple of years, I refused to see her again.

Please avoid this doctor if you expect immediate or timely responses to urgent situations. You can only leave message and they will respond in 2-3 days. Some patients could be dead in that time without a doctor. Please choose more carefully than my family did.
