Dr. Colleen Marie Pearson, PhD

I hate leaving less-than stellar reviews, but I did not have a great experience with Dr. Pearson. Her advice for some of my concerns was basically to "not worry about it," which if I were able to do I wouldn't be in therapy. I also felt she spent a large portion of our appointments talking about herself and her interests. She's very nice and warm, but wasn't what I needed.

Dr. Pearson is an excellent psychologist. She is extremely intelligent, professional, intuitive and caring. Dr. Pearson listens carefully and understands, reflecting on my experiences and provides guidance on managing everyday life. Dr. Pearson communicates complex issues in a clear manner and is extremely knowledgeable of different human conditions. I unequivocally recommend Dr. Pearson.

Dr Pearson stated she was familiar with military and veteran culture. I knew more than she did. She requested a credit card despite checking my insurance before hand. She was late to the appointment and didn't send a link until 10 minutes after scheduled appointment. No comprehensive intake. I am in Florida and she billed her New York address to get more money from my insurance. Couldn't find a New York State license for her.

Pearson doesn’t listen or care about your problems. She has a set agenda and you have to follow it instead of discussing what you need at that moment. Arrogant is nicest thing I can say about her.
