Dr. Colleen Marie Townsend, MD

After receiving instruction on how to make appointments, the instruction was followed yet Dr Townsend and her office staff never responded back to me. I found it impossible to communicate my needs to Dr Townsend as she nor her office staff would contact me regarding my medical care. Their phone message machines say, "leave a message and we'll call you back within 4 hours or the next working day" but they don't. They never returned my calls.

Waited a long time to get an appointment. She seemed rushed and didn't seem to have read my chart prior to seeing me because she didn't even know what I was seeing her for. Misdiagnosed me and I ended up having to see another MD, who helped me out with ease. Office staff are nice enough but sarcastic when you have questions about wait times or future appointments. Phone rings and rings when trying to call office. Hassle making appointments. Lot of run around.

It would have taken me over a month just to get a new patient appointment at Clinic Ole so I went to their walk in clinic where I ended up sitting for almost 2 hours. When I saw Dr. Townsend she was nice enough and thorough but seemed rushed, and rightfully so, as there had to have been 10 more people who had waited as long as I had to see her. She then asked me to make a follow up appointment to see her in 6-8 weeks but they didn't have any appointments for 6 weeks out and the next months schedule was not up yet... which I find is ridiculous at a doctors office. They told me to call back the next week to set up an appointment and every time I tried calling I waited on the line for about 5 minutes before hanging up because no one ever picked up. I finally got someone and then their entire system was down for booking appointments... Not worth the wait, I guess if you don't have insurance it's cheap but if you do I suggest going somewhere else because its a carnival in there.
