Where to begin... I went to Dr. Bills because he was close to my house for pain in my left forearm. He saw me for maybe 5–10 minutes and immediately told me I was going to need surgery, but first wanted me to get an MRI. So I went to Murfreesboro for the MRI, and they told me they would send the results to the doctor. At my follow-up appointment, Dr. Bills read from a piece of paper explaining what the MRI supposedly showed and then wanted to schedule surgery right away. What bothered me was that he never actually showed me the MRI or pointed out what was wrong with my arm. I’ve had surgeries before, and every doctor I’ve seen has always walked me through the MRI images and explained the issue directly. Surgery should be the last option after discussing other treatments — not the very first recommendation after a 5-minute visit. After I got home, I researched Dr. Bills and found multiple reviews from people claiming he does not properly read MRIs. Huge red flag. I decided to schedule… an appointment with Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance, and they requested a copy of my MRI. I called Dr. Bills’ office, and the lady on the phone told me she had the MRI disk and paperwork sitting right next to her and that I could come pick it up. When I arrived, suddenly they said they didn’t actually have a copy of the MRI and that I would need to contact the imaging center myself. When I asked why I was told otherwise on the phone, I got a bunch of excuses. So my biggest question is this: if they never even had my MRI images, how were they ready to perform surgery on my arm without ever reviewing or showing me the actual scan? I do not recommend going here. In my opinion, it’s worth making the drive to Murfreesboro or getting a second opinion elsewhere.

Dr. Bill's has been treating a Left Hip issue. I've received one injection, which provided short-term relief. We discussed further treatment plans and how they'll be coordinated with treatment I'm receiving from. Spine Specialist for back issues.
