Very knowledgeable. Answers any questions you have. Having been to another neurologist previously, Dr. Forchetti was very thorough. There are other neurologists that are part of the practice and are experts in different aspects of brain disorders. The family conference after being seen by several neurologists, was very helpful and came with a plan to move forward.

YOU NOT SEE DR FORCHETTI. You will meet Dr. Forchetti, but all the decisions and answers to your questions will be answered by a Physician's Assistant (PA). The PA will not run your questions by Dr. Forchetti and will just answer as she sees fit without hesitation. The PA does not make any eye contact and is not kind to the patient (as she said she wants to see their true dementia), which is just awful. The PA does the testing and then also gives you the results. She carries around a laptop and it 's not charged and asks you to view the brain scan from her poorly lit laptop while it's facing her. She's an idiot with terrible bedside manner. Its sad that she has a great reputation, as this doctor and her staff does not live up to it. We've had great Drs. at Northwestern and them and their staff know how to treat people with dignity and respect.

If you want to be tested and diagnosed by a physicians assistant than this is the place for you. When you do get to see Dr Forchetti it is for 10 minutes while she reads your records since she is not at all familiar with your case and acts distracted the whole time. She is very good at handing out copies of printed articles.
