Dr. Connie Sue Jenkins, MD

Connie Jenkins is incredibly good at listening to symptoms and determining what drug or combination of drugs will work best with minimal, or in my case no, side effects. Unless you have dealt with other practitioners you will not realize how much of an art selecting the best medicine is. I believe Connie tends to focus on that area of the practice because it is where most practitioners have problems. That is the area where she can do the most good. I would team her work with someone else who can help talk through issues. Don't get me wrong, Connie is fine at talking about issues, but because she is so superb at the other I think she appropriately focuses on determining what medicines make sense. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Generous with her time. Excellent bedside manner. Clearly invests greatly in analyzing the psychosocial dysfunction as well as the neurochemical. I have been driving 40 minutes here for several years now, on a friend's recommendation. I just think she's great and worth the trip. , courteous

I was a patient of her approxmently 17 years ago. Some 17 years later I still can't over how she treated me. Maybe she should change her profession to a scientist where she doesn't have to deal with with patients directly !! Words have meaning and you should walk away feeling better about yourself. Again 17 years later I still can't stand how she treated me.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Jenkins. I felt she understood exactly what I was going through.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jenkins for many years. Until she went back to private practice again, I would have given her 5s in all categories. Now she is in private practice she has limited office hours to M, T, W and 3 hours for each day. Hard to get responses if a message is left on voice mail, and the mail box is often full. Seems she is winding down her practice and more interested in making money consulting, than helping her patients. The receptionist is rude and not personal. She doesn't accept insurance, credit cards and discards patients who ask her about any future changes is practice.

Dr. Jenkins is an Excellent Physician who was Very Caring and Listened Carefully to Issues I had been Dealing With for years, Particularly in respect to My Service in the U.S. Military as a Combat Infantryman. Dr. Jenkins, has ALWAYS been there For Me & Provided Far Superior Advice than several VA Physicians. She helped with my Sensitivity to Various Pschiatric Meds, and Rather than Attempt to Withdraw my 'Rescue Meds' for Seasonal PTSD Anniversary Issues, or Manipulate my Med Protocol, as certain VA Dr's had done, Dr. Jenkins Suggested Non-Traditional Regimines, That Helped Me tremendously. Dr. Jenkins Professional & Caring Sincerity Was the Key Element in Assisting me in Winning my Disability Rating, vs. The Veterans Administration. Any MILITARY VETERAN, whose Issues are Not Being Professionally Addressed by the Bureacratic VA, Should give Dr. Connie Jenkins consideration!

She really listened to my conditions and understood and was trusting that i needed non typical medications and didnt blow me off as some drug addict trying to get the good meds after the first few apointments she bonded well and listened to my needs and understood my rare sleep disorder and problems she respected my choice and need to use natural methods as well as the need for take on demand medications and didnt try to push ssri drugs like prozac or name brand meds also she tried her best to find me meds that suited my budget :)

Dr.Jenkins has a great understanding of what one needs, She has spent more time with me than any other LMH affiliated psychiatrist in med management. In response to the person who gave her such a low rating: Nothing you said makes sense, are you sure you are speaking of the same doctor? She doesn't prescribe large amounts of medications, and she understands that in order for healing to take place, one must put forth some effort. My brother is a military vet with PTSD, and I would gladly recommend her to him. She most certainly does not have anger issues. As far as the blast to her gender identity....she is an incredibly stylish woman ( I love fashion and am always looking for inspiration) and I love her style. Still, I don't see how that is relevant to her profession. She could be wearing stretch pants, a big holey tee shirt, and carrying a knock off Dooney bag, she's still an awesome doctor.

Dr Jenkins is a good psychiatrist. I have been a patient of hers for over 7 years, and she has rarely let me down.

I had to wait 6 months to see her but it was well worth the wait. My first visit with her was a surprise.I have never had any doctor who spent a whole hour with me.She was very kind and caring and listened to all that I had to fill her in on my past treatments.If you live any where in the Columbus Ohio area,you could not find a better psychiatrist
