Dr. Connie Lynn Smith, MD

After months of waiting for an appointment for my daughter with Lyme we received a phone call the day of stating that they don’t take new patients at 2:30 in the afternoon. She would need to reschedule another month out! They scheduled another appointment for a month out! They called 2 days ago and confirmed this appointment! How do you cancel an appointment the day of that has been scheduled months??? Because you don’t want to see patients after 2:30!

Dr. Smith is please however her staff can be rude and unpleasant and not professional. They left me hanging in the hospital and I had to force the hospital to have he come tell me what the plan of action would be and talk with me. Her office spoke down to me about my health care professionals and there care for me. They passed on information on how my other doctor was to treat me instead of them being professional to inform my doctor. They canceled and changed an appointment of mind because it was is conflict with them wanting to go home early for a Christmas party. After looking at other reviews I see simular challenges. (Terrible follow up and customer service) I also had asked the Doctor if I had finished my Pic line medication if She could write an order to have my home health nurse take my Pic line out. Dr. Smith promised she would. I was forced to keep my Pic line in almost two weeks after my antibiotics had been completed. Through the Christmas week into the new year. I called… the office and it was closed with no means to leave a message. After the holiday I called back and the administrator on the ph said why did I not call. I said I did but the the office was closed down. I was not happy with her. She was not nice with me either. I font recommend her staff all. Dr, Connie was nice when I was in front of her.

I was very disappointed in the lack of care or concern from Dr. Smith. I called for two weeks trying to get an answer on treatment for Lyme Disease after she told me she would treat me. Then her nurse calls me and with no other explanation other than to tell me that after talking with Dr. Smith, that Dr. Smith recommended that I go to a university? Huh? Why? No explanation other than her nurse saying..."that is what she recommends" . Umm OK. I was super disappointed that Dr. Smith herself did not call me and that it took over two weeks to even get the answer I got. I would not recommend her to anyone because of her lack of interest, explanation, care or concern. Very disappointed in my experience with her.

We had a visit from Dr. Smith while in the Winchester hospital.. She has a terrible bedside manner and recommend a treatment to begin immediately that proved to be unnecessary when the test results came in-I would not recommend her!

Was referred to her by an ER doctor. Was given the run around just trying to get an appointment so bad that I found another doctor while waiting. The staff got back to me after I found my own doctor and offered me an appointment in 3 months. After reading the reviews I am so glad I found another doctor who could see me the same week I called.

Exceptional physician and diagnostician. Wonderful with patient and family.
