Dr. Connie K Tang, MD

Dr. Tang is one of the most communicative and caring Doctors that have been there for me after I fractured my hip. She cares about the after care as well as my imnediate needs.

From what I've seen, Connie Tang has no business working with patients. I took my dad, who has terminal cancer, to the ER at Kaiser Sunset where we had the great misfortune to run into Dr. Tang. Unlike all the other doctors we encountered who focused on what could be done to help my dad, Dr. Tang took a completely negative attitude. After stating "you're a very sick person" she offered no advice or information on what could be done to help him. She turned to me, awkwardly, and said "this must be hard on you" when my dad was sitting right there! Frustrated by my dad's questions she said "we all have to succumb to disease at some point." She seemed to be angry with us for even daring to ask what could be done. Worse still, she didn't even seem to understand the facts of his case. Although his cancer is terminal, the immediate problem I brought my dad into the ER for, a GI bleed, was successfully addressed by more competent and professional doctors at the Sunset facility. I worry about… the damage Dr. Tang is causing in the ER, especially to "very sick" patients and their families.
