Summary
I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine in order to give back to my community. I was born in the hospital where I now provide care and grew up in the community I serve. I believe patients are entitled to excellent care in their own backyard. Many of the moments I had as a nurse in the ICU have shaped how I now practice. I believe in treating others how you would want yourself or your own family to be treated.I really enjoy any kind of physical activity — walking, running, hiking and biking. While it’s great for my physical health, I find it benefits my mental health and overall well-being.
