Dr. Conor Mcdermott Wierus

My daughter, who is a college student in Florida, underwent a dental implant procedure with Dr. Connor Wierus that ultimately failed. Unfortunately, the experience raised serious concerns for our family. During the weekend following surgery, there was no on-call provider available, and repeated attempts to reach someone from the practice went unanswered. As her condition worsened, we were left without guidance or support at a critical time. We ultimately had to fly our daughter home to Wisconsin for emergency care, where the implant was removed and a gum tissue graft was required due to the damage. Both Wisconsin providers involved in her follow-up care independently shared concerns that Dr. Wierus’s charting was incomplete and contained inaccuracies, which complicated her treatment. Based on what we were told by subsequent providers, we were also informed that aspects of the original procedure did not align with the standard of care they would expect for this type of surgery. This… was an incredibly stressful, painful, and costly experience for our daughter and our family. I am sharing this so others—especially families navigating care for students living out of state—can go elsewhere.
