Dr. Conrad J Duncan, MD

Dr Duncan is an excellent Dr. He has an awesome bedside manner, He has a big heart and he actually cares about his patients. He takes his time with my mom and he listens to her carefully with an open ear. He has compassion and goes above and beyond to make sure my mom is ok. I’ve taken to so many doctors and I have not yet received the quality care that I receive when we walk into his office. It’s a rewarding experience to have visits with Dr Duncan doctor because he makes you feel like your the only patient but you know you’re not! His expertise has allowed my mom to continue with a quality life and his expertise led him to the right choice for my elderly mom who was overlooked and pushed to the side by other doctors as our elderly population are so often ignored. He fixed her problem as well as proactively took preventive measures that ended up being the best decision for her to continue living the best quality life . His staff are excellent as well and I can’t forget about his… physician assistant who is phenomenal and they as a team are exceptional.

Consulted with him about correction of a prior reconstruction. After an exam which lasted about one minute and without looking at my records, which I had not yet provided, he felt confident enough to recommend two procedures. I said I would think about it. Next thing I know, I receive notification that's my insurance has approved my procedures; and a pre-op packet arrives, informing me of the date and location of my upcoming surgery and giving me instructions. I was a bit upset and called the office. The response was non-chalant: "Oh, he is a bit scattered and does this sometimes. I will just cancel your surgery." Proceeded to consult a different doctor. Three visits and two diagnostic procedures later, I scheduled surgery with her.

Dr.Duncan has been my Dr. for over 17 years. He is not only an excellent surgeon but also an advocate for women that have complicated medical issues & histories. He will listen, educate, respect your feelings while discusding the numerous breakthroughs in the field of Urogynecology. His bedside manner is stellar.

I have no idea why anyone would rate Dr. Duncan anything less than 5 stars. He performed my Hysterectomy and my bladder surgery. I had thousands of fibroids and every doctor I went to wanted to give me a large incision in order to remove them but Dr. Duncan did not! He took his time and removed the piece by piece and I only had a a couple tiny puncture marks on my stomach and a very small incision in my pelvic area which has now completely disappeared. I wasn’t in any major pain after I got home from the hospital, just took some over the counter pain meds for my discomfort. And most importantly, he was able to do my surgery without having to give me a blood transfusion! In my religion we do not take blood and it was highly important to me that I did not take any blood and I lost ALOT of blood during my procedure, so It was a really really slow recovery at home because i was so weak because my blood level had gotten so low but I used home remedies to bring it back up and I was fine in… the weeks to come. He also performed my bladder surgery which I can say, is the best thing I could’ve ever done! I can sneeze, cough, jump and down and laugh as hard as i want and not release any urine. I opted to not do the sling because I didn’t want any form objects inside my body so he did the other one and I didn’t feel any pain whatsoever after that surgery. I didn’t even have to take pain meds! So I highly recommend Dr. Conrad Duncan. His mannerisms is outstanding, he’s patient, he’s kind, he’s genuine, and he extremely knowledgeable in this field. I’ve referred several people and the ones that’s gone to him, loved him and said he’s did a great job with them as well.

He is the BEST

He's in major financial trouble. The state of MD has a $97,691.76 judgement against him for unpaid taxes to the state of Maryland in Jan of 2016. He has a foreclosure and a host of other personal problems in his past including driving with a suspended registration (Nov of 2015) and another strange traffic problem in the past (not just speeding but more serious infractions). This is all part of his public record. I'm not sure he's able to be a good dr given many personal issues (financial is not good, he may be doing surgery just to make extra money), 11 cases in total (wow!). If you do a judiciary case search on him you'll find all sorts of stuff. Very scary. Don't know how he's still on staff at a hospital.

Dr. Duncan is the model doctor. He cares about his patients and will take as much time as is necessary to explain things and determine a diagnosis and course of action. He is kind and is motivated by the desire to heal, rather than how financially wealthy he can become.
