Dr. Conrad Andrew Kawel, MD

I’ve been going to Dr.Kawells office for 7 years after discovering I had cancer. I would trust him with my Life! He’s kind, patient, compassionate and explains everything. I hope he never retires.

I visited Dr Kawel after a rec from my primary care doc about a lump in my armpit. He was very thorough, spent a lot of time with me, and when it turned into an infectious abscess before I could get a CT his office got me in immediately and he lanced it in office. He's so nice and really takes the time to listen.

You would think that if you hand a doctor an insurance card and they do all the usual things with it, they ACCEPT that insurance. They didn't say a word about not being in the Blue Cross Blue Shield network and we got slammed. Lesson learned, I guess, because they refuse to acknowledge this little oversight on their part.

Was never told my insurance was not excepted by this doctor. So when i received a large bill I was shocked. I know that I should have checked myself ( and I do now) but when I ask "do you take my insurance " and your staff says yes, I thought I was good. Always double check and don't trust them. They even made me pay the full amount and wouldn't give me a discount.
