Dr. Conrad C. Nievera, MD

I have never left a office so pleased and at ease as as scared and frightened as I go in...but I do when I go see him , after the initial big breath of it all and I know he is coming and where I am I am ok...I AM SAFE...and that he makes me feel when he arrives..safe

My son was diagnosed with epilepsy three years ago at age 19. Through a process of different meds and a VNS implant Dr Nievera was able to bring the seizures under control. Currently one year seizure free and we owe it all to him. If I could give more than 5 stars I would...can't thank him enough!

At long last I found a physician that listens. I feel like I hit the jackpot of a lifetime. Thank you Dr. Nievera!

Dr. Nievera has been my doctor for many years. It is difficult to continue to go to appointments since I live on the far north side of Spokane. I wish he could make a recommendation to see a doctor nearby. Thanks Cheryl Lovett

Dr. Nievera seems great; knowledgeable, delves into patient background, asks lots of questions, listens well. He's my new neurologist and it was a great first appt. However...I called to book a follow-up appointment to discuss tests that were done, and the next opening is seven weeks away. That's poor patient care to take on so many patients that one has to wait almost two months to discuss test results. So, as much as I like Dr. Nievera, I need to find someone with a smaller patient load so I can get better care. Also, all but one office staff I interacted with are very rude, very attitudinal, both on the phone and in person.

Dr Nievera is my neurologist for my epilepsy, he is the only DOCTOR I have seen for the last four years. Although I have now found the perfect medication, it was not easy getting there. When my siezures started when I was sixteen I was newly on birth control, my parents and I thought maybe the birth control could have started them. When we ran it past him he argued and claimed it is impossible. A while later my parents and I were talking to his PA (who I have seen a significant amount of times more than him) about the possibility of it being because of the birth control, she said it was a possibility so I got off of it, it didn't stop them completely but after I was off of it I only had one more siezures and I'm pretty sure that's because I forgot to take my medication that morning. Anyway he doesn't listen, talks down to me, never answers his phone or emails, and never follows up. Not to mention that I have seen HIM only probably four times in the last four years and I've seen his PA… at least twenty times. And those few times I have seen him he hasaid been at least 20 minutes late. He's an a**hole who doesn't listen. Don't see him!

This doctor is truly a man of the people. How many doctors do you know who CALL YOU as soon as they get test results? Or monitor your progress when a third-party gives you medical treatment?
