Dr. Constance Ann Noll, MD

As a psychologist, I am well acquainted with the field of mental health. My appointment with Constance A. Noll, CRNP, was unprofessional, cold, and disappointing. This review is not about not getting what I wanted—it is about the quality of care. Her bedside manner was poor: she was cold, unempathetic, and dismissive. She did not ask for examples of the issues I was struggling with, nor did she attempt to understand my perspective. Instead, she came across as arrogant, as though she were the ultimate authority on all matters of mental health. She offered no rationale for refusing to prescribe the non-stimulant I requested (non-stimulant) and gave no clear explanation for why she suggested Abi1ify instead. She even attempted to dismiss my 32-year history with (stimulant) as ineffective—without asking any questions about my actual experience with it. To make matters worse, she arrived 30 minutes late to the appointment. This is not someone I would ever recommend to clients or… colleagues. She may have expertise in medications, but she failed to recognize that I am the expert on my own lived experience. That lack of respect and empathy made the encounter unacceptable.
