Great doctor. I had an endovascular stent-assisted coil embolization of the aneurysm with him. Everything was perfect and fast. Dr.Plakas is very attentive and professional. Highly recommend.

I am so thankful to Dr. Plakas and his staff for the wonderful treatment I received when an emergency aneurysm required surgery. Dr. Plakas is competent, patient, kind, and was able to communicate in a reassuring and simple way with me which answered all my questions and calmed my fears. His assistant, Deb was also wonderful and helped so much in my recovery. I am blessed to have been under their care.

I had a fall and fractured a vertebra in my back. Dr Plakas took care of me and I had 2 surgeries in order to repair my back. He is a excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery.

I self referred to DR Plakas. His patience and professionalism put me at ease. He ordered a few tests the results of which we decided surgery was not necessary. Can't say I'm sorry to not have BRAIN surgery, but I'm sorry to have to get another doctor (neurologist) for treatment.

But I was very impressed with Dr. Plakas’ overall demeanor & detailed explanations. He took the time to show me my MRA on the computer & the areas of narrowing in my Carotid arteries. After my CTA this Fall, he followed up with a very detailed explanation of the (good) Results! ??

I saw Dr Plakas for a brain aneurysm found accidentially on a cat scan of the brain for another issue. He was very compassionate, caring, and gentle. I had an angiogram to determine the severity and he was very gentle. I have had numerous heart catherizations that are basically done in the same manner through the groin with some being very painful...........not the case with Dr Plakas. I am awaiting my appointment to discuss my options. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a neurosurgeon!

I really liked him. He was very personable and interested in my past history. I would go back to him if I needed a neurosurgeon.
