Dr. Constantine Rossakis, MD

Dr. Rossakis is one of those rare doctors that truly shows you the love for his craft and the pride he takes in it. He is caring, soft spoken, and explains everything in terms you can understand. I hadn't seen him since 2013, but he hasn't changed; best bedside manner I've seen in a long, long time. Makes you feel good that you went to see him. Thank you Dr. Rossakis.

Never visited a physician, Cardiologist or otherwise, with credentials and training like his who actually took the time to explain my condition and put me at ease. Another doctor (who is actually a patient of Dr. Rossakis!) referred me and I will be forever grateful.

I was not able to schedule an appointment until 2 months in advance. The representative named "Nikki" was rude and discourteous. She would only schedule an appointment if I provided my SS#! Can you imagine! I have good insurance but I felt like I needed to go through an interrogation before I could even enter in to the office. When I asked to speak to the office manager I was forwarded to her voicemail. The voicemail stated that she wouldn't be available for a week. What kind of office do these people run?! I'm sure pretty sure the doctor is good at what he does, but his choice of office staff is terrible. He won't get my business.

Dr. Rossakis is a brilliant doctor who spent a great deal of time with my mother and I. He took the time to explain everything, in detail. He looked at my mother during the exam and does NOT stare into a computer like most doctors today. He actually called us himself with results, not a nurse, and explained everything. They don't make doctors like this anymore.

I made an appointment for my husband as a new patient and confirmed our insurance plan; but when he went in, the office staff mis-read his insurance card and insisted he needed a referral. They wouldnâ??t listen to him as many times as he told them that our insurance plan is a PPO and we don't need referrals for any doctors. He called me and they wouldnâ??t speak to me. The girls kept insisting he had to have a referral and just dismissed him. As he became agitated, (He had left work early, and they had rescheduled once and made him wait 2 months for this appointment), they said the doctor wouldnâ??t see him, because the doctor had the right to choose his patients. I called the office manager and she insisted we needed a referral. I called my insurance company and the company called the office manager and told me that they informed her that we did NOT need a referral. They said they told her that this situation never should have happened if the office staff were better trained. I feel… an office staff represents their doctorâ??maybe they did us a favor . . .

Dr Rossakis is perhaps one of the most patient and thorough professionals I have met to date. At a time when most doctors rush you out of their office, Dr Rossakis surprisingly took the time to ask my father many questions and patiently listened when my father, who also suffers from Alzheimer's, went off on many tangents. He did a thorough exam and was positive throughout. His staff was equally accommodating and professional which is a testament to his leadership in the office and the respect they have for him. As far as I'm concerned if I have to wait a little longer for a doctor who takes the time to do his job thoroughly, I will wait. He shows a real dedication and love for his job and his patients alike. There should be more doctors like him!
