Very Unprofessional, condescending towards patients Staff receptionist not giving full details about cost. I also felt that the doctor was argumentative and condescending towards me as well. I tried going back which was my second time and saw the same behavior. I would never go back again and would not recommend this so called podiatrist to anyone!

He’ll try to belittle you if you threaten his self-importance

Being a good doctor is more than education and expertise. I could not believe how condescending this man was with the nice young man working with him. I was very uncomfortable sitting there witnessing such rude arrogance. I should have said something right then and there. It was very uncomfortable to witness. Won’t go back. Nope.

The way you speak to your employees, students, and patients astounds me. I tried to come into your practice without bias even after hearing comments from some of your previous staff, but I wish I would have listened to them more. Although I have not dealt with as much of a raised voice as some of your staff, I quickly tired of the constant corrections when things were properly done. The amount of times I saw you put your employees to tears is absolutely ridiculous, especially considering I had not been a part of the practice for long. The constant, looming anxiety of the next time you would ‘go off’ on one of us (your employees) is incredibly overwhelming. I worked in EMS before I came to you and can’t figure out how you have managed to make the work environment more stressful than that. I wish the best of luck to your next employees.

Dr. McLean and his staff were friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. He answered my questions with layman's term explanations- felt very comfortable and did not wait to be seen.

Dr. Conway McLean was very through and professional, answered all my questions and did not feel rushed at any time during visits. He is very patient, kind, and likable. You are treated as an individual with professional demeanor. Outstanding physician who is highly educated with surgical skills that are excellent. Very organized well run office environment....everyone makes you comfortable and feels like home. We are fortunate to have a physician of his quality in the UP. I would definitely recommend Dr. Conway McLean and his staff.

Dr. McLean's custom foot orthotics have gotten me from experiencing excruciating heel pain every day to pain-free walking! The only time my feet hurt now is when I'm not wearing my orthotics. I am so glad to be able to resume my normal activities!

Dr. McLean is an awesome foot Dr. I have been going to him for over a year. I would not consider going to an other Dr.

Dr spent 15 seconds with my 90 year father with me in the room also. Unprofessional, argued with my father over a procedure done or not done years ago and then walked out of room, came back when I asked nurse if we were done and she went and found him. Told my dad to get debridement done and left again. He should be embarrassed to bill Medicare.
