Dr. Corazon Glady Ajero, MD

Do not use this Doctor. She puts children on medication only by looking at teacher questionnaires and doesn’t follow up for months at a time. When you call with any concerns they tell you there are no appointments for months. This “Doctor” should not have a medical license!

Dr. Ajero, was very patient in explaining all the questions we were going through. She was very careful in making sure I knew exactly what she was asking and was very caring and sweet asking my son to do things or show her things. I felt such relief and comfort with her diagnosis and her recommendations. Great Dr.

My family and I have waited a year to see Dr Ajero so we were pretty eager to see her. When she first came in she asked "What brings you here", so we began to explain our concerns... she described our child as annoying... so she annoys people. She first stated we could take our daughter off of meds, but after being in the consultation room with us she stated for us to start the meds immediately. She basically expressed we were horrible parents, and needed to be more strict, and how medication was not going to change her, but was still adamant of medicating her... I talked to her about statistics on how to treat and cope with an ADHD child.. she said to stop reading and stop babying her. I was very shocked, upset, and hurt with a lot of the things she said. The same medication she prescribed us was the same one our primary physician had suggested. So as a working parent if you are planning to travel to see this doctor, or wait a year to see her for her to tell you that you are a… horrible parent or that your child is annoying please save your self the trip, and time and look for another option, or stay with your primary physician. I generally do not do this, but I know the daily struggle of coping with my daughters ADHD and hoping to find answers on how to assist her on a daily basis. So if you are also struggling know that you are not alone, but Dr. Ajero's "expertise and experience" were not helpful at all. With her experience I figured she would be more mindful, and compassionate of the hurtful "terms" she used.

She spent a total of 15 mins in 2 visits with my son and I, Her diagnosis for him was ADHD and insisted on putting him on Meds. All of the kids in the off were on meds. Is that her answer for everything? When I refused to put him on meds she said there was nothing else she could do he was only going to get worse. He has gotten better. I changed his teachers and he is now reading and getting really good grade in school. He no longer has any issues. If I would have put him on meds it would have made him zombie. I'm so glad I went against her and went with my gut. Medication is not always the answer for every child.

si me gusto mucho la dr. AJERO solo que da la citas muy retiradas una de la otra y my me gusta ria que fueran como cada 2 meses no cada 6 meses se me ase de masiado el tiempo y mas cuando sabes que tienes ninos espesiales

This is by far the worst doctor I have ever encountered. How can she even be dealing with children? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. She never gave our child a diagnosis, was just going back and forth. It was just a waste of time seriously.

Dr. Ajero is fantastic! She spends time with you, and is very knowledgable. She truly cares about her patients!

Dr. Ajero is one of the best doctors for ADHD children in South Texas and that includes San Antonio, TX. My son has been a paitent of hers for 4 years now, and when we moved to San Antonio she and her office staff were quick to give my son's records to the new doctor. When we moved back to the Valley, She re-took him as a patient even though she was not accepting new patients.

I liked the professionalism by office staff and doctor. I liked talking to someone knowledgeable in this critical area. I liked the way she did not talk down to us. She concurred with our diagnosis and will have a follow-up visit. She offered hands-on types of interventions that need to be carried out and came up with great ideas on implementing them. I will make recommendations to our school staff on the professionalism of your practice and will make further recommendations to our parents. Thank you.
