Felt very comfortable going in for surgery. Dr. Sturgeon explained the procedure in a way that was easier for me to understand and made sure all my questions were answered. He is very kind and compassionate. Highly highly recommend

Dr Sturgeon is truly the most brilliant parathyroid surgeon! I am so very very grateful to him. He is extremely knowledgable and is the BEST surgeon ever. He is also the nicest, kindest, most caring doctor you will ever meet. Many thanks to Dr Sturgeon!

The best! I had my entire Thyroid removed because of cancer recently. Him and his team did a great job. He uses plastic surgery techniques to close up the incision, so it looks wonderful and its healing great. Great bedside manners and 100% he knows what hes doing. Hes one of two doctors in Illinois that are the top at thyroid removals (Dr. Peter Angelos) is the other one at University of Chicago. I chose Dr. Sturgeon after talking to a prior patent who went to him. Dr. Sturgeon is great

I had a partial thyroidectomy - hardly any pain post op- my scar is minimal at 3 weeks - I think he's a great surgeon and he has a great staff!!

I had seen Dr. Sturgeon for thyroid biopsies with ultrasound. He was professional giving detailed information on what to expect during the procedure and post biopsy. Over time my nodules progressed to complications with swallowing and I recently underwent surgery for a complete thyroidectomy. I was pleasantly surprised with my recovery--not one pain pill, tolerable healing time, and great followup post op care from Dr. Sturgeon. I appreciate his expertise, surgical skills and bedside manner! Highly recommended.

Dr Sturgeon would make a better businessman than doctor as every time I have visited him he has seemed solely focused on getting patients in and out as quick as possible resulting in spending little to no time (5 minutes) discussing how patients feel and what concerns they may have. His bedside manner is the worst I've encountered from any health provider. If referred to him it would be best to request another option.
