This surgeon is aggressive, pompous, refused to listen. While a horrifying bedside manner is often forgiven by exceptional care, this one is beyond that. I'm still in shock over how rude he was and it's a terrible blight upon PeaceHealth and Longview Surgical. It's a small community and after the appalling behavior he exhibited I've heard similar stories. I tried offering some important information during my husband's exam and he basically told me to shut up. My husband was in intolerable pain, had little sleep, and was on pain meds. He was having difficulty answering questions so I politely tried filling in the gaps. This doctor got aggressive, yelled at me, and immediately screamed "I'm not going to argue with you!" I was shocked. Nothing about my demeanor was argumentative. Even as I sat there sobbing he continued to be blatantly rude. If he doesn't believe in gathering as much information as possible there is a serious problem. We will be taking further action...a silly… review doesn't seem like it's enough. Hopefully patients can avoid him.

Butchered me. Was rude throughout the process. Refused me a consult. Left me horribly scared from what should have been a simple appendectomy. Took 4 hours to do what should have been a 1 hour surgery. Avoid at all costs. Shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine.
