I was misdiagnosed with a melanoma, sent to a skin cancer surgeon who carved up my leg , left a huge scar only to find out that there was never a problem at all. Biopsy totally clear. Can you say "quack"?

Dr. Smith is one of the few doctors that see you on time. This is so important for the working crowd. Don't be late though or they will reschedule you. Dr. Smith explains things well throughout the exam and spends time to educate you on how to stay healthy. Her staff is courteous and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Smith if you are looking for a great Dermatologist!

I was so impressed by Dr. Smith. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. After seeing several Dr.'s she was the only one to correctly diagnose my skin issues- I wouldn't trust the care of my skin in any one else's hands- It was super easy to get in- wait time was short. I have brought in my son and recommend her to everyone I know

I love Dr. Smith! She really takes the time to look over problem areas especially during my skin screenings. She's very intelligent and easy to talk to. I feel like she truly cares about my health. I understand why she gets booked out because i feel she has made a name for herself in the field. Yes, there might be a wait but it's way less than other dermatologists that I seen. Doctors like her are very hard to find

The dr. Is excellent! However, office staff could be better. The wait is pretty long and you will be there for a good length of time. God forbid if something comes up and you need to reschedule an appointment. You will have to wait 7-8 months for a reschedule... Ridiculous. They will lose me as a client due to the these points I have just mentioned.... Which is too bad because the dr. Is great!

The staff was very friendly and Dr. Smith took a lot of time to go over all that I needed. Extremely intelligent and kind. Will definitely recommend.

I have seen Dr. Smith, twice, thinking things would get better but they don't. Even if you have the first appointment in the AM or right after lunch, you are always waiting including in the exam room. Dr. Smith is not very approachable and it's a struggle to have a conversation. She seems to always be in a hurry and never makes you feel comfortable or that she is interested in really getting to know you. I have check-ups every year and the last time I went she was very irritated that I was having a skin screening/check-up and only wanted to look at the couple of areas I had concerns over. I had told her I made the appt for a screening and that I had a couple of spots in particular. She told me "I'll just be able to do a quick screen and not a thorough one" since she didn't have time. What kind of doctor says that to a patient? She honored her word and quickly did a check and promptly left. I told the nurse/medical assistant that I wasn't happy with the visit but that she was… nice enough and tried her best. Will not be going back.

I waited and waited with my paper vest and cover over my front with air blowing on my back. She finally came in and I had to introduce myself. It was awkward the entire time. She was mad I had not transferred records from other practice and could not deduce her own results. She took the mole from my back as it was only mole I had on my body. I hope she saved my life. She told me that my grandmas melanoma that was diagnosed and eventually took her did to sound like melanoma at all. What?! I said well it was and it did. Long story short, she told me to shampoo with Selsun blu or head and shoulders and to stay out of the sun as I was pretty much predestined to have skin cancer and melanoma and my place where mole was was likely to get infected . The nurse came in to get me to sign one more form-to send records from other doctor. I said I could not sign it as I was not going to change. I didn't like dr smith. The nurse apologized and I told her it was not her fault. … The office staff we every nice and professional. I will not be seeing them as I need more than that. My other doctors were upbeat and positive. There is a lot to be said for that.
