I have been a patient of Dr. Mircea for over 20 years and have always gotten the best medical care and service from his staff the entire time. I feel fortunate to have a medical provider like him. He is a true professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, effective, and very competent. His abilities as a physician are unparalleled, a terrific doctor that I would highly recommend.

He can not give an accurate diagnostic. He did not knew that my son had appendectomy after checking him. Was a total waste of time and the next day we went to the Emergency room. I hate his prayers at the bedside of his patients. Supposedly he is a doctor not a priest!?

I will never choose this doctor again and I will never recommend him to anyone. He has his own obsessions and do not accept the input from other doctors. He disregard all the information and treatment from MSKCC considering that he knows best. He completely interrupted the treatment my husband received from MSKCC when he ended in the emergency room at Clara Maass hospital with a severe scesure saying it"s the hospital policy. He FAILED to check for cancer when my husband complained of unwanted weight loss. He FAILED to recommend an MRI when my husband complained of numbness in 3 fingers of his right arm. He FAILED to respect the last wishes of my husband and his family. Conclusion = my husband died of metastasis of unknown origin. For the last time he FAILED to write the correct diagnostic (he wrote metastatic colon cancer) so the death certificate is wrong. I am waiting for an amendment to the death certificate (up to 8 weeks) thanks to him. He is in for the money only.

Excellent doctor!! Spends time and answers all questions. Very knowledgeable, courteous and has an excellent bedside manner. Secretary is also very nice!

Dr Mircea is a great, well-respected doctor!! My Mom just passed of Multiple Myeloma, which took me on a journey where i met a lot of his patients and their families and the consensus is that he goes above and beyond! Great bed side manner, good listener and a very knowledgeable doctor....a real "people" doctor. His secretary is real nice, as well and you never have a problem with appointments because he has late nights. He's a real angel!!
