Dr. Corrine Elizabeth Garner, DO

I have been going to Dr. Garner for the past few years for annual physicals and any other medical needs I may have, which are minor. First: I needed an appointment for a refill on birth control and a refill on an inhaler- both of which I have had for years with no issue. They made me have two separate appointments for the two refills due to "billing"...Okay... Next, when I went for my appointment in MARCH, prior to refilling my birth control prescription I was told that I need to go see a neurologist. They said that they would send over a referral and that I would be contacted to get an appointment set. This was not the case. Three weeks went by and I heard nothing so I contacted them again, only to be told that I need to call the neurologist to set up the appointment. I was never given a name or contact information for this doctor prior to this. Finally, two months later, I saw the specialist. He acted like he didn't know why I was there (and I really didn't know… either). He said I am fine to continue taking the birth control pending no results. He suggested I have some lab work done since I hadn't had any in a while. He sent his report to Dr. Garner and I waited for someone to contact me, as the post signs all over their office that THEY will call YOU, and not to call them! I waited nearly a month. I ended up calling them and they hadn't even started the process. I had to call them at least 5 times over the course of the next few weeks to have them look over the report, only to be told that I would no get a refill on my prescription until I had labs done, because supposedly that is what the neurologist told them needed to be done.... Within a few weeks, I went to have my lab work done to appease Dr. Garner. I asked the lab how long it would take to have the results and they said 24 hours. The following day, I called Garner's office to let them know my labs were done and to please call me as soon as possible with results so this can all be settled. I called three more times before being told that my results were fine, but that I need to have a PAP- even though my original appointment was for just that and Dr. Garner told me I did not need one this year. I asked why I didn't have this done in the first place and the response was "I don't know". This is absolutely outrageous. It is September. It has been 6 months and this is not resolved yet, even though I am a healthy young woman in my mid twenties. I have not been given any answers or reasoning behind it, either. In addition to all of this, I feel that she is rude and talks down to me, correcting the things I say and speaking over me. I will never return to Dr. Garner and I will be sure that anyone who I know that needs a primary care physician knows about my terrible experience with her and her staff.

I am still walking due to Dr Garner care and making good medical decisions and or reconmmendations .

My parents and I are so disappointed in this doctor. Obviously she doesn't care if she has patients. Her front office staff is so rude as well as Dr. Garner herself. No wonder she was fired by Allegiance. I have given her two attempts to be my doctor. I don't have a lot of medical issues so I am not a hard patient to see. I do have asthma which she doesn't like to deal with so I go to a pulmunologist now. It is so sad how it is hard to find a good doctor now a days! Her office doesn't return phone messages either. My mom had to go there in person to get a message and then was treated rudely by the front office staff. Most of the time you call there, you can't talk to someone. You always have to leave a message and THEY DON'T RETURN YOUR CALL. This is why my mother chooses to go in there in person.

Dr. Gardner is knowledgeable, but her office lacks customer service skills. More times than not, I had to follow up with staff to ensure things were being handled and the processes had not begun by the time I was told that they would. I would not recommend this office.

I don't like the new office at all. I have had trouble with Dr. Garner prescribing something that I should not have been taking. Her staff is rude, not helpful and there seems to be a lot of them. Every time you call in you have to start over because you can't talk to the same person twice. A lot of girls working but no communication between them. This last time I tried to get a prescription filled, they told me that my blood work was lost and I would need to get more blood work. I told her I couldn't because the insurance would not cover a 2nd time without me paying for it and she said that's ok-I didn't agree. So, they won't see me without the blood work so I am going to find someone else. It takes 10 days for them to contact you regarding blood work because they let the results sit and ferment. The blood work results are usually available within 24 hours from the lab. It's time to find somewhere else to go. The care is not there anymore.

I love going here! She has a new building and everything is so fresh and new. Her new staff are all so professional too! Everyone of her staff are so nice and treat you like you are their best friend. I recommend her to others all the time.

I've been a patient of Dr. Garners for some years now I used to tell everyone about her. Since she moved into her new building the whole practice has gone down hill. Yes it looks fantastic and its clen but beware. If you need any kind of follow up or test results you will be the one trying to chase them down to get them. They cancel appointments at the last min and this has happened over 3 times now (I'm not one that has very many app) When I tried to get answers the girl on the phone was very condescending and rude she really didn't care that it was important for me to be seen. Needless to say I just switched doctors after my brother with more serious issues then me had all the same problems with this practice.

As far as doctor garner goes, very good physician, as far as her staff, Out In left feild! They have a major problem with scheduling, even when there wrong its your fault. I will never return to this office again.

I saw Dr. Garner for swollen lymph that were popping out on the back of my head and neck. She gave me nasal spray and told me to call if I wasn't better by the next afternoon. I wasn't and so I did. Never got a call back and I tried for 2 weeks. Never felt better. Come to find out I have an unspecified autoimmune disease and that swollen lymph in the back of the head/neck are a symptom. Not happy with her at all and definately not impressed.

Dr. Garner has seen me twice this year...when told by her to call her the next day with issues, I never receive a return call. She has prescribed me meds without seeing or speaking with me and at one point her office staff told me she didn't have time to see me and go to urgent care with my problems. Now, having a life threatening illness and her having the test results, I have tried repeatedly to contact her since she is my pcp, but she will not return my calls. She treats me as though I am simply a hypochondriac, a drug patient, and since she knows I have a mental illness, she treats me as though it's not a viable illness. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.
