Dr. Caldemeyer did a great job. There was minimal pain afterwards. The staff was friendly and informative and answered any questions that we had.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Caldemeyer does not want to do an extraction without anesthesia, even when insurance won't pay for it. I talked him in to doing the first one without it because I have had two teeth removed before with just local. Dr. Caldemeyer's procedure was to take a chisel and hammer out the tooth versus the tool my other two dentists had used which went down the side of the gum and then they rocked the tooth out. I opted for anesthesia the next four teeth because it was such a painful process the first time. He was also defensive when I shared that I had numbness after an implant. Instead of explaining that it is not uncommon, he turned and threw up my xrays and told me that the implant was perfect but I didn't have as much bone as I should have. Since he is the expert and took the xrays, I felt he should be the one knowing how much bone I had. The tingling/numbness did go away with time and if he had just said that I would have been OK. But to imply… that it was my fault for "not having enough bone" seemed offensive. Then when I went to get my crowns put on, one implant was so crooked that the lab had to try twice to figure out a crown that would go on it. The other side where I had had 4 teeth removed and had asked for two implants with the last tooth just to be left missing, was too far apart for 3 crowns so I ended up paying for 4 crowns which cost me an extra $750. I will drive to Cincinnati for any future work. My two implants that were done several years ago have given me no problem and the oral surgeon gives you his personal cell phone in case you have trouble as well as ices you down before you leave which did not happen in Cookeville.

Excellent Staff and Dr Caldemeyer was great. No pain after or before. Friendly, courteous, and feel very at ease at every appointment
