Dr. Corwin Hill Brink, MD

Brink underestimated me. I was high functioning but Brink dismissed my abilities and my good character. For example, I was a long-distance runner who regularly exercised but Brink asked me if my only reason for exercising was to "look good." He was complacent when I had failures and was skeptical of my successes. He obviously expected that I would fail a lot in life: the guy was unsupportive, invalidating, dishonest.

My relationship with him was incredibly superficial and didn't signal any genuine understanding of me. His conventionality serves as blinders preventing his actual sight of unusual values and ideas.

Dr. Brink misdiagnosed me and it ruined my life.

Psychiatrists like Dr. Brink are few and far between. Manages care and medications expertly. Actually listens. Very responsive to patient needs and concerns. Caring and compassionate. Exceedingly professional and thorough.

He is so caring. Efficient. Asks questions. Returns calls promptly. Easy to get an appointment. Pays attention to your needs. Listens carefully. He doesn't take insurance but he is worth every penny. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

It's a 4-hour round trip for me every time I see Dr. Brink, but well worth the time required. He is respectful of me as a person, easy to talk to, and prompt to return calls when needed.

He has been a psychiatrist for our family for many years. He has seen the kids and myself. Always professional is what I tell others and always caring. We have been thru very bad psychiatrists and psycholgist but never had a bad day with his visits. His rate is too high for my family now but doesnt mean I wouldnt recoomend him. You cannot get the best for cheap.
