I was seeing another gastroenterologist, and felt like I was just not making the connection and getting the attention and care that I needed. I switched to Dr. Miyamoto, and had an endoscopy. She was professional, answered all my questions and I loved the print out she gave me after the procedure. Will continue to go to .

This doctor is too busy to return calls or is it narcissism. Saw her 10 years ago and don't know why I even bothered to go back. I'd think twice before having her do a colonoscopy she may not have time!

Dr Myamoto performed colonoscopy and left a voice mail asking me to call her back for the results. I called her 3-4 times per week next 3 weeks before she had time to call me back. In the meantime, she made an appointment for me with a surgeon specializing in cancer. When she eventually called me back after 3 weeks, she explained that she was worrying that a lesion she found might be caused by HPV, which is a sexually transmitted virus that also leads to cancer. Although HPV is sexually transmitted, Dr Myamoto did not ask me any questions at any point. When I went to see the surgeon, it turned out that Dr Myamoto did not send to him either the results of her colonoscopy, or any other documents that might explain why she referred me. I related to him what she told me on the phone, and the surgeon asked me a couple of questions, took a look of about 10 sec, and assured me that the lesion was completely innocent. Dr Myamoto may have the best intentions, but the physicians in too much… hurry can be dangerous for their patients.

Dr. Miyamoto has worked beyond my expectations sorting through some very unusual conditions. She is extremely skilled in her field and conducts procedures more professional and comfortable than any other GI physician I have ever been treated by... She is truly a lifesaver for me....THANKS DOC
