He is married and he has 5 children and 4 grandchildren. He served a mission for his church after high school in Honduras, Central America. He is fluent in Spanish. He enjoys playing golf, spending time with family, and being involved in his church.Dr. Smith graduated from Adam’s State College with a degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish and Chemistry. He graduated from Southern College …of Optometry in Memphis, TN with a Doctorate in Optometry. He graduated Cum Laude and received the honor of clinician of the year. He did three-month rotations in the VA hospital and a private practice in Memphis, TN. Those rotations were focused on ocular disease and were instrumental in how he practices optometry today.
