Dr. Cotton Danl E Feray, MD

I am a long time client of Dr. Cotton Feray. Recently he diagnosed my cancer. He has been there for me every step of the way. He actually deserves 10 stars! Not only did the office walk me through insurance nightmares, they were there to answer my many and often questions. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Cotton and his office.

Doctor Cotton and his son, Lance are some of the finest people we have had the privilege of knowing over the past 16 years. They are very caring and take time with each patient and give excellent advice and counsel. Their bedside manner is jovial as well as sympathetic and the staff is also well-trained and very capable. We've never had a problem finding a parking place, and appointments are usually easy to schedule. I'm feel fortunate to be a patient and for their kindly friendly help over the years.

Where do I begin? Dr. Feray has been my primary care physician for about 4 years. In that time, i think I've been seen by him once, for a sprained ankle. Every other time, I've been seen by a nurse practioner. She seems nice enough, but not very friendly. Her manner is somewhat cold and she's not easy to talk to. And while I've never been misdiagnosed at the hands of Dr. Feray, I feel that they (as a practice)could be more efficient in handling their patients and their medical needs. For instance, the last time I went in was for shoulder pain. My shoulder was looked at (with no diagnosis by the nurse practioner), and I was told I needed x-rays, and that I would have to schedule another appointement the following week to review the x-rays (the x-ray tech said my films would be ready in an hour, so I'm not sure why I would have to wait a whole week to go back to the the doctor). After finally reviewing the films, I was told the best thing would be for me to see an orthopedist. … So, basically after several doctors appointements and alot of money spent, I was told given no diagnosis and/or tips on pain management. Having said that, everyone who works in the office and the nurse staff are very friendly. BUT, the parking situation is HORRIBLE!!!!
