Summary
Courtney is a LPC who believes all clients are the experts on their own life. She utilizes Person Centered therapy to allow clients to lead their sessions while she is their guide on their mental health journey. Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy helps clients focus on the present, their internalized thoughts, how to make those thoughts work best for their life, and to learn how to respond rather than just react. She utilizes EMDR, DBT, and IFS to assist clients in their healing.
Courtney is also a certified trauma-informed yoga instructor and may incorporate some calming techniques and/or somatic movements to allow the body to release stuck emotions. Courtney loves spending time with her family, pets, and in nature.
