Courtney said her inspiration to pursue a career in medicine started at a young age. Her driven commitment to lifelong learning and helping others is what kept up her motivation throughout the years to continue her journey. “My decision to specialize in sleep medicine was influenced by the importance of sleep itself and managing sleep disorders. Treatment is vital for overall health, well-being and quality of life,” she said. Courtney’s relationships with her patients are based on the foundation of trust. She said, “Building trusting relationships with my patients is essential to providing effective health care.
