Dr. Craig Antell, DO

Dr. Antell and his staff are very professional. I have a great experience and health care with them .I really refer. Dr Amtel is charismatic professional.

Dr. Craig Antell is an excellent physiatrist. He diagnosed my condition very well and listens to all my medical problems related to my left knee pain. He is a very good doctor and very knowledgeable in his profession.

No follow up! He seems great and then drops the ball. He said diagnosis and next steps would be "fast" but its been a week to find out if I need surgery.

Went to see the doctor for pain in my arm. It was Friday evening. Dr. said his nurse was taken ill and was absent that day. He was supposed to give me places of recommendation for physical therapy of my arm and said his nurse would call the following Monday. She never did. Had to follow up 2 times myself phoning them, waiting on the phone for them. After a week the nurse calls, doesn't really give me places I could go to, doesn't even tell me in detail what I need to say to whoever I go visit. She gave me a number for NYU near where I lived, and says everything is in the notes of the doctor. When I look at MyChart, there is nothing. Not even sure who to talk to. I don't have time to keep chasing. Unprofessional. (Doctor's personality was nice. But as others mention in their reviews at different sites (e.g. Yelp) when he needs to provide you with places where to go to recover, he is very bad at that).

I have been going to Dr. Antell for several years and he is knowledgeable in both back and neck and hip and other things. Once in a while you have to wait a bit but nothing major. I'd rather have a doctor who's patient and kind when they see you, and that's what he is. His patients appear to run the gamut of super athletes to regular people with a few aches and pains like me. Back injuries are quite serious so you need a good doctor. I recommend him highly. I am not related to him, he's not my neighbor, I don't do business with him. Just a grateful patient.

Jokey bedside manner, misses details, abysmal follow-up totally on the patient to keep things moving, then he doesn't remember your case. go elsewhere.

Believe the negative comments. This guy is a waste of time. Over bills insurance, you can't get his staff on the phone and he does talk about his personal issues trying to be more personable. He talks and talks and did nothing for me then said I needed to come back in. he doesn't remember you and after I last saw him I had to go to 2 other doctors because he wasn't helpful and I am stuck with his hefty over padded bill. His reviews on here were lower a few months ago so he must have had people write fake good ones

Dr. Antell is a fantastic doctor. He told me how to fix my back issues, and I have used his recommendations to avoid further back troubles. This doctor truly cares about his patients, every one, so if once a while someone else is having a bad problem, you may have a slight wait. But when it's your appointment, every ounce of his attention is focused on you. I believe Dr. Antell is one of the best doctors I have ever met, and truly is one of the most caring doctors I've ever met. If you want a doctor who truly listens to you and tells you how to fix your problem and avoid future problems, he's your man. I believe some doctors go into medicine to make money. I believe he went into medicine to make a difference in his patients' live, and for that, I am very grateful. I have been using Dr. Antell for about two years.
