Dr. Craig Hannie Crawford

Dr. Crawford is a specialist in orthodontics with a practice limited to orthodontics. Dr. Crawford grew up in Lake Charles, where he attended St. Louis High School.
After attending college at LSU in Baton Rouge, he graduated with honors from LSU Dental School in New Orleans, and then completed a 2 year advanced specialization training in orthodontics at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
After 2 years of private practice he joined the orthodontic staff of Align Technology, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area and later became clinical manager for the operations department of the company and he was based in Heredia, Costa Rica.

In 2004, after 4 and a half years with Align Technology, Inc. he returned to Lake Charles with his high school sweetheart and now wife, Angela (Stoma), their daughter, Zoe, and son, Eli. He continues to provide orthodontic care at Crawford Orthodontics to the Lake Area as his father, Dr. Patrick Crawford, did for 30 …plus years.
Dr. Crawford provides both conventional orthodontic treatment and the clear removable aligner treatment. With his with his experience of working with clear aligners to straighten teeth, he is considered by many of his peers to be an expert in this technique. He has lectured nationally and internationally on this relatively new and exciting technique in orthodontics.
Dr. Crawford is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Southwest Society of Orthodontics and the Southwest Louisiana Dental Study Club.
Besides straightening teeth, Dr. Crawford enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, and traveling.
