Dr. Craig Stephan Curry, MD

Dry poor follow-up, I had an injection in my back and it made my pain worse. I sent a message on my chart and had no response for 5 day. I finally called and am waiting for a response. This doctor interrupted me at my office visit and was very cold. I would not recommend him for either his execution or his manner. Terrible experience.

I saw Dr. Curry because of intense back pain. He did not take my issue seriously and offered no treatment except to recommend Tylenol which I was already taking. He refused my request for an x-ray several times. I became very upset and frustrated and was crying because this doctor seemed uninterested in helping me. At the end of the appointment he finally consented to an x-ray, but his x-ray tech was very hostile and shoved my shoulder roughly forward to position me. At that point I left the office still upset and crying without having an X-ray. NB: a few days later I was seen at the ER and was diagnosed with a spinal cord injury. I was taken by ambulance to Maine Medical Center where a lamanectomy was performed.

Office staff was totally incompetent. They took 3 weeks just to SUBMIT a preauthorization for a crucial procedure. Dr. Curry is probably a fine doc but...
