Dr. Craig Carlton Davis, MD

I've taken my daughter to see him since she was 2 months old and she has smiled every time we have seen him. He's a great doctor and has listened to all my questions and really talked to me about everything I asked being a new mom.

Very condescending and not personable at all. You would think working with children he would have such a positive and fun attitude but the past two times we have had to see him it hasn't been the same. He seemed to be aggravated and agitated that my 11 month old was screaming and when I asked could we take a break for a second he said to me and I quote are "you okay or do I need to get the nurse to come in here and hold her down" I do not and I will not recommend him to anyone.

I have taken my 2 children to Rock Hill Ped for the past 6.5 years. I have had the misfortune of seeing Dr. Craig Davis about 5 times in this time. He will not prescribe any type of antibiotic unless there is a fever during the visit. A low grade fever doesn't count. My husband took my son today because he woke up in the middle of the night screaming in pain because of his ear hurting. Dr. Craig Davis prescried an ear drop. Approximately 1.5 hours later we administered the drops. My 6.5yo son screamed and cried in pain. We administered the drops again at bedtime, 10 hours later, and the response was even worse. So now we will be heading back to the office AGAIN first thing tomorrow morning. I refuse to see Dr. Craig Davis again. I am not a mother that expects or wants an antibiotic when it is not needed. I do, however, expect the doctor to provide one when it is needed. And this was clearly a necessity. When I am sick I typically do not run any type of fever and my child is the same… way. If he doesn't have a 100+ fever, it doesn't mean he doesn't have an ear infection that requires antibiotics.

He's the best, hands down!

Dr Davis is wonderful! He takes his time listens when you talk and my daughter loves him!
