Dr. Craig Robinson Devinney, MD

brought my 16 yo in due to her feeding tube got stuck in sinus upon removal. She was in severe pain and I didn't want to continue to pull without insuring there wasn't a knot or attached causing permanent damage. This is her 7th tube and something was really wrong. We headed to the ER with my daughter in screaming pain. I asked the Dr to please manage her pain before we assess how to remove the tube. He instead walked up to her and yanked it out. Then wrote in the chart it was easy. As she lay there screaming, bleeding , and now not trusting an ER that she repeatedly needs. He never even assessed her or asked her any questions, just walked up and yanked. Ignoring us as people and her as a person in pain.

I was worried to go to the ER as I had heard that they are overflowing. Fortunately I was seen by Dr. Devinney who quickly recognized that I had a serious infection and admitted me to the hospital. Not only his he compassionate and patient, he is a life saver!

Very unprofessional. I had a 10 day trip from Mexico, and upon arrival, I was throwing up, had a high fever, diarrhea, and very dizzy. He sat me down and told me he will go over my results with me and advised me to stay put. For two hours I waited for my blood work and had IV fluids go into me since I was dehydrated, which he initially wanted me out of the room. After two long uncomfortable hours because of my sickness, he came into the room and said I am free to go. Of course, any one with that response with 2 hours of waiting would be, what about my summary results? He said that everything looks good. I then asked, what did you see? He then proceeded in saying, I dont have your report memorized. At that point, I was very angry. He was being very rude, which was strange to me why he was acting like that, almost seemed like a racist act since he was being really hateful towards me. I then reminded him that he would go over the report results and asked if he noticed anything abnormal… about my results, and he then stated again, I would have to check again. He then proceeded in saying my platelets were low, and I said of course they are! And then he proceeded in saying, are you quizzing me? Im like, no I just want to know my results. This doctor just went into the ER with no preparation at all of telling me what's wrong with me. He then stated, do you think I just came into the room without knowing your results? I said, well yes, because you didn't even know my platelets were low, which for any doctor is a red flag for something abnormal. This person was really immature and couldn't handle my criticism and said, think what you want and left the room. This person does not deserve the title doctor, he is incompotent at his work, has no clue how to treat people right. Not sure why is there if he doesn't like to help people. As a person, we look up to doctors to help, and that day, I was tossed to the side. Very very disappointed, and my bill came out to 2,111 dollars! Completely outrageous considering the type of care. I would not complain here if the treatment I received was an honest and careful visit, but I was just in a room waiting for a guy to just kick me out of the room. He is a complete idiot at his job.

Not recommended. I went to the ED with increasing shallow breathing, muscle weakness, and numbness at advice of my rheumatologist as he suspected neurological issue after positive for cryoglobulins and was worried. Dr. Devinney immediately shut me down and said he has never heard of cryoglobulins being secondary to neurological issues. Dr. grabbed my blankets and hat and threw them across the room (being warm my only defense to cryoglobulin damage). Dr was aggressive and very condescending and d/c me after seeing me for 5 minutes. Over the next week I was in extreme respiratory distress, had difficulty inhaling, but did not go back to the ED as dr, his nurse, and social worker told me not to come back to ED. I feel lucky to be alive as I today found out from my oncologist I have myasthenia gravis and was in myasthenia crisis.

Dr/ Devinney didn't seem to have any empathy for my pain. He ran a couple of tests that took 5 hours and then told me he did not know what my problem is.

Poor bedside manner, didn't explain things about my one year old son I brought into ER. Told me I shouldn't be worried about it.....why else would I be in ER if I wasn't worried. Barely wanted to even look at my baby and was trying to back out of room without saying anything but that "it has to run its course" but then said to follow up with my baby's doc that is on maternity leave. I had to probe and ask questions and he didn't have many answers or explain much unless I was asking about it. Will refuse to see this doc ever again and he shouldn't be ER doctor if he doesn't wanna deal with people. I am complaining to the hospital.

I have many chronic illnesses and health crises that require ER visits have seen him multiple times. has told me I’m fine multiple times when I ended up being in grave danger labeled me a drug addict pumped me full of narcan when In reality my kidneys were in acute failure and acute pancreatitis. never believes pain including when I had a kidney stone. poor bedside manner when it’s just my mom and I he speaks to both of us when my dad takes me he only speaks with him. multiple sexist encounters.

Came into ER, in shock. Left me there alone, cold for almost an hour. Had me call my regular DR (on vacation) after car accident for medical advise. Just did not care at all.
