I would absolutely recommend Dr. Dunn and his staff - he is a sole practitioner, you don't feel like cattle, he's very down to earth - a blue jean kind of guy, and knows his stuff.

What I love about this office is that 1) It's not a patient mill. It's one doctor with a very dedicated staff - two other people to be exact, Rose, the office manager, and Alicia, the medical assistant. 2) Rose is SO personable and friendly. She really made me feel welcome as I am relatively new to the area (was here one year before I contacted the office). 3) The administrative aspect of the office is pleasant and they know our wacky healthcare system and so help me to (legally and ethically) navigate it and work with me as a team member in my own health, thank you, to provide the best care. 4) Dr. Dunn is young - 49 and that's the age I am. I wanted some one old enough to be experienced but young enough to be current on the latest in medical practice. I also wanted someone who I could related to generationally. As I age, I want a doctor who can help me make the most of my later years. Bec. he's my age, I feel he can relate. 5) Dr. Dunn is a pleasant, courteous man. I… wouldn't call him overly friendly but that's ok cuz I have plenty of friends. What's very important to me is that he RESPECTS that I intend to be an active participant in my own health and I don't want to be toked up on Big Pharma drugs. I want to work with my body's own healing properties as well as with Big Medicine in the U.S. 6) Alicia is very courteous and the office always gets right back to me if I call (which isn't often cuz I'm pretty healthy). 7) I call Dr. Dunn's practice "old school" not because it isn't current with 21st century medicine but bec. the one doctor practice in the cute little house on a side street in busy city who spends a good hour with a patient for a full physical and takes time to answer questions and sits back and looks you in the eye rather than at his chart or my lab results is the kind of doc I grew up with in the 60's. Hard to find and so I'm keepin' him!
