Dr. Craig Paul Hartnagel, OD

This was by far the WORST experience I have had with a doctor. He is very arrogant, rude, and unprofessional. He diagnosed my young daughter with lazy eye, and sent me to a specialist. The specialist told me that he was completely wrong, and that my daughter had no problems. The worst part, by far, was dealing with his wife, who is the receptionist. She is probably the NASTIEST lady I have ever encountered! She is rude, belittling, and abusive with her mouth. She constantly rolls her eyes and talks down to everyone who walks in that has Medicaid or some type of state insurance like they are scum bags! My daughter bent her glasses and we came in to have them fixed. She was very agitated and said we would have to wait...2 hours later, Dr. Hartnagle fixed her glasses, as his wife rolled her eyes and scowled at us. I snapped at that point, and walked out, never to return! The lady that fits you for glasses is not any better. She is very rude, and if you have state insurance, will not even… let you look at anything as far as frames, or let you pay out of pocket for something you may like better. She pretty much handed myself and my daughter a pair of frames and told us this is what we could get. AVOID!!! If you enjoy being belittled, rude people, and an unprofessional environment, this is the place for you! VERY long wait time, as well!!
