Dr. Craig Alan Horn, MD

I agree with a previous post about Dr. Horn's staff. They are definitely not always friendly but Dr. Horn is top notch!! I can't tell you the number of times I stop and think about how blessed I am to have such a wonderful pediatrician for my 4 boys. We have been going to Dr. Horn for over 13 years now and love him. We never feel rushed, he listens intently to our concerns and truly cares about his patients. When we moved to the Cincinnati area 4 years ago there was never a question that Dr. Horn would still be our doctor. I gladly drive over an hour for my boys to see him. He is a generous, kind and funny doctor who loves what he does!

In my opinion, this doctor and his office are mediocre at best. They seem unwilling to provide even middle of the road health care. In our experiences, the support staff is rude on a good day and intolerable on a busy day. This might be a function of them being overworked, but your children likely deserve better than this office can provide. If you are only looking for an office to do a school physical or routine checkup, this is probably okay for you. But if you are looking to your physician and their support staff to provide quality care to help you figure out a health issue, I suggest you keep looking. This is not the office for your family! In fact, they could do more harm than good. For us, they tried to tell me my child did not have an allergic reaction to penicillin, I feel they did not giving her quality care from an ear infection and they lost our son's allergy test results for 3 months - telling me he was allergic to only cats rather than cats, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts… and eggs! We have moved on to a new physician, but I wanted to share our experience. Please consider this before risking your child's health and well-being by trusting this office!
